Кто ты, чтобы судить? Как научиться различать правду, полуправду и ложь

Если мы хотим, чтобы после нас в этом мире что-то изменилось к лучшему; если мы хотим, чтобы Бог благословил наши усилия в проповеди Благой Вести и в том, чтобы мы были «солью и светом», мы должны знать, чем отличается церковь от этого мира. Мы должны быть разборчивыми и проницательными, чего бы нам это ни стоило. В основе наших суждений должна лежать честность, качество, которое противостоит эгоизму, пронизавшему все наше общество. Здесь, пожалуй, нам лучше всего процитировать слова Иова: «Пусть взвесят меня на весах правды, и Бог узнает мою непорочность» (Иов 31:6).

Давайте же обратимся к Богу и попросим Его даровать нам и способность, и желание быть честными людьми в нашем разложившемся обществе. И, по Его благодати, давайте будем церковью, организацией, которая воздействует на этот мир вовсе не своей численностью; организацией, которая несет миру учение, способное этот мир изменить.

Свой разум, волю, сердце, жизнь —

Иисусу посвяти.

Заря уже взошла.

День братства смело возвещай,

Не бойся силы зла.

С Христом мы победим.
