Аннотация: Северный морской путь, занимающий особое место в географическом воображении российской аудитории, после активного завоевания Арктики в 1930‐е годы и последующего планового освоения в позднесоветский период, в 1990‐е был вытеснен с передовой российской политики. Новый всплеск интереса к Арктике пришелся на начало XXI века, когда словосочетание «Северный морской путь» снова стало важным для государственной повестки. Данная коллективная монография предлагает три подхода к изучению Севморпути – с позиции социальной антропологии, истории и экономической географии. Корпус рассматриваемых тем включает связи материальной инфраструктуры Севморпути и поддерживающих ее социальных отношений; представление Севморпути жителями арктического побережья, профессиональными сообществами и широкой аудиторией; практическую и риторическую адаптацию прибрежных поселений к социально-экономическим изменениям; различные концепции управления инфраструктурой Севморпути, а также политическую логику проектов развития «национальной транспортной магистрали». Заявленное в названии книги множественное число указывает на то, что для разных аудиторий сам феномен не тождественен: Северные морские пути – это исторические и современные, социальные и политические, риторические и практические – множественные пути России в Арктике.
